Paul Wu

Paul builds the largest automotive OTA and software-defined vehicle cloud platform in Asia Pacific, now embedded in the supply chains of Volkswagen, Mercedes-Benz, Hotai Motor, and Toyota.

Prior to founding Carota, Paul founded Gmobi, whose subsidiary Go2Play was acquired by Hangzhou Liaison Interactive Information Technology Co. (HLIIT), a Chinese publicly listed company, in 2015. He later served as Independent Director and Compensation Committee Chair at Newegg (Nasdaq: NEGG), a US-based e-commerce retailer majority-owned by HLIIT, through its successful Nasdaq listing in 2021.

Paul also co-founded MOX, the accelerator focused on early-stage investments across AI, smart mobility, and internet-related ventures.

Earlier in his career, he held leadership roles at MediaTek heading the iPAS internet services platform, and he spent several years at Foxconn Technology Group and TOM Group, the Hong Kong-based media and internet conglomerate under Hutchison Whampoa.
